The City provides an officiant Monday to Friday. We cover the rest — available every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday the chapel is open.
The Markham Civic Centre chapel is open 7 days a week, but the City only provides officiants on weekdays. If you are booking a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday ceremony, you need to bring your own licensed officiant — that is us.
Simple Process
Book the chapel for your weekend date, then book us. We handle the ceremony and all the paperwork.
Reserve your weekend time slot at the Markham Civic Centre through the City of Markham.
Call or email to confirm your date. We will check availability and hold your booking.
Obtain your Ontario marriage licence from any municipal office before your ceremony date.
Your officiant arrives at the chapel, leads the ceremony, signs your licence, and files your marriage.
Markham's Civic Centre is one of the most elegant municipal ceremony spaces in the GTA, featuring a dedicated chapel and a wedding room — both located within the Civic Centre building.
The chapel includes a Bluetooth audio system so you can play your own music. Ceremonies are available seven days a week, but the City's in-house officiant is only available on weekdays. Weekend couples must arrange their own licensed officiant.
Our Fees
All prices are plus HST. No surprises.
Full ceremony, signing of your marriage licence, and registration with the Province.
Two witnesses provided if you are unable to bring your own.
Priority documentation to support faster marriage registration where needed.
All fees are in addition to the City of Markham chapel rental fee.
